Your vehicle’s oil is the lifeblood of your engine. Older vehicles with higher milage need more upkeep and care than newer vehicles. A vehicle manufactured within the past few years may only need its oil changed every 7,500 miles. A vehicle with in excess of 100,000 miles might need its oil changed every 2,000- 3,000 miles.

Every driver and therefore every vehicle is different depending on how your vehicle is used. A vehicle that encounters excessive stop and go driving needs its oil changed more often. A vehicle that spends 95% of its time on a freeway might not need its oil changed as often. A vehicle that is leaking oil or burning oil needs to immediately be inspected for more serious safety concerns.
